Washing Instructions

Machine Washing (Recommended)

  1. Spot treat any stains with cold water first
  2. Set to cold water (30°C or below)
  3. Use a gentle or delicate cycle
  4. Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent
  5. Avoid washing with heavy items like jeans

Tip: Wash every 5-7 wears or when you notice odour or staining. Regular washing maintains the UPF protection.

Hand Washing (Alternative)

  1. Fill a basin with cold water and mild detergent
  2. Gently agitate the hat for 2-3 minutes
  3. Pay attention to the sweatband area
  4. Rinse thoroughly until no suds remain
  5. Gently press out excess water. Never wring or twist.

Drying Properly

Step-by-Step

  1. Press the hat gently between clean towels to remove excess water
  2. Reshape immediately while still damp
  3. Stuff the crown with a clean towel to hold the shape
  4. Lay flat in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight
  5. Allow 12-24 hours to dry completely before wearing or storing

Do Not

  • Use a tumble dryer -- heat damages fabric and UPF protection
  • Dry in direct sunlight -- causes fading and material degradation
  • Hang by the brim -- causes stretching and shape distortion
  • Use a hair dryer, radiator, or any heat source
